Deeply Hydrating Treatment Essence brings relief to tight, unbalanced skin. It’s the first hydrating step in your routine and sits between water-based and oil-based products — for example after cleansing, toner and a water-based serum, and before face cream and/or facial oil.
It’s a light, quickly absorbed treatment layer that prepares the skin for what follows and helps the rest of your routine work more effectively. Rather than simply moisturising, it also supports the skin’s ability to retain moisture and maintain its natural balance.

At the heart of the essence is Frantsila’s organically grown echinacea, which supports skin balance, helps soothe the skin and supports its ability to adapt to external stress.
Other plants harvested from Frantsila’s organic fields — meadowsweet, yarrow and St John’s wort — complement its action and support the skin’s balance and protection.
Alongside the botanical extracts, the hydrating action comes from glycerin and hyaluronic acid, which bind moisture within the skin and help ease feelings of tightness. Together, these ingredients support the skin’s moisture balance and microbiological wellbeing without harsh actives.
The treatment essence is also well suited to sensitive and reactive skin. Use it on its own or alongside other Frantsila natural skincare products. It leaves no heavy film or sticky, greasy feel on the skin.

Scent
The scent is natural and plant-based, softly aromatic and calming. The first note you notice is the slightly anise-like aroma of echinacea. Blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum), Italian immortelle (Helichrysum italicum) and frankincense, or olibanum (Boswellia neglecta), then bring their own soft, herbal and gently earthy character.
The scent evokes damp earth, an herb garden after rain and a summer morning before the sun has dried the dew. The essential oils are present at very low concentrations, giving the essence a light, calming scent.
